For Those who love their pets and value thoughtful home design.

There was a moment, not too long ago, when I found myself standing in the middle of my living room, holding a beige carpet square covered in suspicious stains and a cat tree that looked like it had survived a tornado.

The cat tree was ugly. The carpet was worse. And my cat, Mochi, was sitting on the one piece of furniture she wasn't supposed to touch — because, apparently, it was the only comfortable spot in the room.

That was the moment I asked myself a question that should have been simple:

Why does loving my pet have to mean giving up on loving my home?

The Gap We Kept Tripping Over

For years, the pet industry has sold us a very specific story: that pet products are supposed to be functional first, and anything else is a luxury. Bright colors. Plastic textures. Shapes that scream "this is for an animal."

And for years, we accepted it. We bought the neon toys, the fuzzy igloos, the scratching posts wrapped in cheap carpet. We put them in our living rooms and told ourselves, "It's fine. The cat loves it."

But here's the thing: we didn't love it.

We loved our pets. We just didn't love how our homes were starting to look.

And we couldn't have been the only ones feeling that way.

HOOMLET Was Born From a Simple Belief

That your pet is part of your home — not an interruption to it.

That design and function aren't enemies. They can actually be best friends.

And that furniture can be beautiful and practical. For you and for them.

We started HOOMLET because we believe that the things we bring into our homes should make life better for everyone who lives there — whether they have two legs or four.

What "Shared Living" Actually Means

You'll hear us use the phrase "shared living spaces" a lot. It's not just marketing speak. It's the entire reason we exist.

Shared living means designing furniture that works for both of you. Not a compromise where everyone loses a little. A solution where everyone wins.

It means:

  • A cat bed that doesn't look like a cat bed — until your cat curls up in it
  • A design that your guests will compliment before they even notice it's for a pet
  • A home that feels like yours, not like a pet supply catalog exploded in the corner

We design for the life you actually live. The one where your cat sits on everything, where hair collects on dark surfaces, and where you've stopped apologizing for the scratching post in the corner.

We just think that scratching post should look good.

The Name HOOMLET

The name HOOMLET comes from two ideas: home and the quiet comfort of a small, intentional space.

A HOOMLET is a home within a home. A little sanctuary. For you, for your pet, for the moments in between.

We're not here to sell you a pile of products. We're here to help you build a home — one piece of furniture at a time.

A Few Things We Believe

  • Your cat doesn't care what the furniture looks like.
But you do. So we design for both of you.
  • Pet ownership shouldn't feel like a sacrifice of style.
It should feel like an upgrade.
  • Furniture should make your life easier, not harder to clean.
(We think about the hair. A lot.)
  • Small details matter.
Because home is made of small details.

Where We're Going

We're just getting started. And we don't have all the answers yet. But we have a direction — and it's one we hope you'll walk with us.

We'll keep designing. Keep listening. Keep asking ourselves, "Is this actually good for both of them?"

And we'll keep showing up, every day, for the people who love their pets and their homes — and refuse to choose between the two.

So, Welcome to HOOMLET.

This is a space for you. For your cat. For the life you're building together.

We're glad you're here.
